Robbi Jade Lew tweeted on Friday morning an alleged direct message from the High Stakes Poker Productions (HSPP) employee who stole $15,000 worth of casino chips from her stack after the September 29 broadcast.
The alleged thief, Bryan Sagbigsal, thanked Lew for not filing charges and promised to “do whatever” to make things right. He even said that he would do “hard work” to repay her money. But many on social media believe persuaded that the message was manufactured and that Lew or her husband, attorney Charles Lew, penned the DM; this is the topic of our most recent episode of The Muck.
“I agree with you, Robbi. Someone who is as wonderful as you is wouldn’t have been so generous as to return the money to the whiny Garrett and SPARE ME “Sagbigsal remarked, presuming that he was the author.
Despite the double negatives, Lew decided not to prosecute Sagbigsal at this time.
Reg at Hustler Casino Live Talks About Theft Incident

OKBET spoke with “Nik Airball,” a regular at the Wednesday night game at Hustler Casino Live, who said he had met Sagbigsal several times and found the HSPP staff member to be “pleasant” and not look shady in any way. That’s why he was so taken aback by the chip-stealing episode.
The poker player also claimed that Sagbigsal has been frequently losing at the Hustler Casino in Gardena, California, in games with moderate stakes (Los Angeles area).
Nik Airball said that he lent “Rip” (Jacob) $175,000 so that he could participate in the now-famous Hustler Casino Live broadcast on September 29. Airball stated he was repaid the following day. Since Rip’s bank transfer apparently hadn’t cleared in time, he stepped in to ensure that he and Lew could enjoy a night of rafting together.
Even though Nik Airball noted, “I do not believe she would be a favorite in that lineup,” Rip staking Lew in the game didn’t seem out of the usual to him.
Airball commented on Rip’s strange decision to invest in an untested player against a roster that includes Garrett Adelstein and Phil Ivey, saying, “I don’t believe Jacob (Rip) sees it that way.” I believe he views it more as a game of chance than anything else.
He added that in addition to his love for poker, Rip oversees mixed martial arts and boxing competitors. He claims to have met Rip on the September 21 HCL broadcast, and that he and Rip thereafter started hanging out with Lew.
Nik Airball has indicated he trusts Nick Vertucci and Ryan Feldman to find out what happened with the notorious jack-four hand, and that he would continue to play on the webcast next Wednesday despite not knowing the details.
“Both Nick and Ryan have my unwavering trust. They’ve never screwed me over “the man said.
Regarding Lew’s Friday DM drop, he is still mulling over their meaning but has a newfound respect for Sagbigsal.
Arguments Over Twitter Direct Message Authenticity In Poker
Is it possible that Lew didn’t reveal a real DM authored in its whole by Sagbigsal? Some people are skeptical, but supporters of the document’s veracity say its doubters are just engaged in wild conspiracy theories. Ryan Riess, winner of the 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event, doesn’t seem to believe it. To learn more or you want to be updated you can go to OKBET Sportsbook or simply go directly to OKBET.com.
In a poker cheating incident, “this is a message a co conspirator would write in a pathetic effort to convey innocence,” @CnutCrypto tweeted.
“Anyone else wondering why nobody is urging @RobbiJadeLew to quit further implicating herself? Perhaps her spouse has a legal background.” The question came from @PierPapa2.
“For a man who swears he has 0 education, his grammar definitely is on point. please let it all stop,” Len Ashby adds.
According to Matt Berkey’s analysis, “this is LEGIT more dodgy than the real hand itself.”
Some poker players among the skeptics, as they have done throughout, stood up for Lew.
“He wasted away a fantastic career opportunity. I’d be ecstatic to get hired for that position. I was going to give it my all and do my best to speak for them. Sad to say, he didn’t share my enthusiasm “A piece by @Eric Shunn.
Sagbigsal and Joey Ingram have spoken over the phone, and Sagbigsal has tweeted that he will be on his live stream on Friday night.
