Action at the head table

The all-ins started off the eight-handed final table with the average stack being under 20 large blinds. “Buckets99” dubbed Matthew “peepeepoopoo” Paoletti’s all-in move with king-jack after he had gone all in with ace-ten. In order to eliminate Paoletti in eighth place, the board ran out with a jack on the river.

A few hands later, Dibello called Michael “MMenz08816” Menzer’s all-in bet with ace-jack when he had pocket eights. Menzer was knocked out in seventh place when the flip delivered Dibello the nuts flush. When Nick “NickyP1010” Palma’s eight-six fell to Michael “BrockLesnar” Holtz’s ace-eight, Holtz called the push and Palma hit the rail in sixth place.

Dibello quickly called Sergei “Copone” Kislinskii with queens after he went all in with pocket jacks. Kislinskii’s performance on the board didn’t change, and they were eliminated in fifth place. Holtz made a full bet after discovering king-eight with a small stack. When the board ran out with ace-high, Dibello made the decision, and Holtz was eliminated in fourth place.

Shortly after the three-handed game began, “Buckets99” stepped in with king-jack and was forced to face Dibello’s flip with pocket nines. The board gave “Buckets99” no assistance, and they were eliminated in third place.

When heads-up began, Dibello had a commanding lead over Volosevich, and the chips quickly hit the center. Dibello called Volosevich with ace-five after they brought their stack in with king-queen. Volosevich had to be content with second place as the board ran out with an ace. Dibello won the competition and received his very first WSOP gold bracelet.
